Film Project to Tell Story of Renewal

Garden to the City is a film project with the mission of "revealing the story of God's renewal of all things." (The web site is rad, so check it out.) I can't wait to see the film series, which is divided up into four units: creation, fall, redemption, consummation. The web site for the project says the films will be available in 2009. That clearly didn't happen, but I hope that means they'll be releasing soon. The trailer is well done and makes me eager to see the finished project.

I have often said that many people don't grasp our mission or the reason for being here because they never place life into the context of "salvation history." In other words, they never place themselves into the story of what God has accomplished, is accomplishing, and wants to accomplish on earth. Hopefully, this film series will get it right.

If you have any info on this series or when we should expect its release, let me know.
