Jen Hatmaker is an HGTV star and New York Times bestselling author of “For the Love” and “Of Mess and Moxie.”

But in recent years, she has also become a source of controversy for changing her view on LGBT relationships and vocally opposing Donald Trump. These views have cost her dearly–the former position prompted America’s largest Christian retailer to ban her books (even though none address that topic) and the latter earned her death threats.

I guess this is what good ole fashioned Christian “love” looks like in 21st century America.

In light of her recent experiences, I invited Hatmaker to join me on my “Seekers and Speakers” podcast to discuss how she has come to understand what love means and looks like.
